Hi, I’m Mimi and I’m a strong proponent of daily intermittent fasting or “scheduled eating.”  I believe limiting the amount of time we spend eating can be, for many of us, one of the most beneficial things we do for our overall health.  I’m not a doctor, nutritionist, or fitness expert. However, I’ve experienced, first hand, the numerous health benefits intermittent fasting can provide, and I want to share what I’ve learned with you.

Like many people, I struggled with my weight for many years.  Not long ago, I hadn’t heard of initermittent fasting and I couldn’t have imagined spending 19 hours a day without food and still having the energy and disposition to work, smile, and enjoy life.  Today, I’m 70 lbs lighter, simply by scheduling my eating and I’ve never felt better.  My goal and passion is to spread the word about this completely free and sustainable method of weight control and in doing so to help others move from obesity into a healthier weight range, just like I did.

This blog is my effort to help myself and help others to live a healthy lifestyle of daily fasting in the most informed and enjoyable way possible.  I’m convinced that with the right information, a commitment to good health, and a curiosity to explore what we’ve previously considered a “normal” way of eating, daily fasting can be a highly beneficial lifestyle resulting in vibrant health and permanent weight loss.  I look forward to more of the positive results I’ve seen and I also look forward to hearing about your successes with daily fasting.
